If you contact us, your data will be collected for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in the case of further questions. If you contact us via our website, your message will be forwarded directly to our mail account (office@ecec.net). Your personal data is being processed within the scope of regulated tasks in the ECEC AISBL Statutes, for accounting- and invoicing requirements and for the technical administration.
The dataprocessing is based on Article 6(1) c. (Compliance with a legal obligation) and Article 6(1) e. (performance of a task carried out in the public interest) of the GDPR in connection with the AISBL regulation ›Act of 27 June 1921 governing the non-profit associations, the international non-profit associations and the foundations‹, or optionally on the basis of a consent within the GDPR Article 6(1) a. (for example Cookies, Newsletter).
We will not pass your personal data to third parties, except it is necessary for the fulfillment of tasks regulated within the ECEC AISBL Statutes, for accounting- or invoicing requirements, technical administration or if you have given your explicit permission.
Your data will be deleted, once the purpose of storing the information has been fulfilled and the storage is no longer relevant, or if the storage of the information becomes legally inadmissible.

This data is also maintained by our host the Fondazione Consiglio Nazionale degli Ingegneri (Foundation of the Italian Engineers Chamber). Our host is subject to Italian law, which require 6 months of maintenance for log server without anonymization. This data will not be passed on to third parties.
SOCIAL MEDIA
We want to get more people excited about our project. So the European Council of Engineers Chambers is also represented on linkedin and X. You can find links to these social media platforms on our website. Linkedin and X are mostly settled in the United States. Therefore, it is not excluded that during visiting our website your personal data (e.g. IP-address) will be transferred to countries which are outside the European Union. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) does not apply in these countries.

On 10 July 2023, the European Commission adopted a new adequacy decision pursuant to Article 45 of the GDPR for the United States of America, known as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (see https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/ip_23_3721). If a company in the United States appears on this list, the transfer of personal data is possible based on the adequacy decision alone and no further measures need to be taken to protect personal data.
