The E4E project is quickly picking up speed

The Engineers for Europe project team met again on 30 March 2023 to discuss the methodology for the first round of research on the evolution of the engineering profession with a focus on skills and competences. All partners will conduct surveys and interviews during the next months and the common result that will be a basis for the further steps of the project will be delivered in July 2023. The research focus is quite broad and reaches from technical and transversal skills and competences requirements to engineering consciousness and independence, key success factors, the Sustainable Development Goals and several other aspects of the engineering qualification and practice.

Additionally, the Skills Council, an engineering expert body that shall contribute to closing the gaps between education, profession and industry is already taking on shape and will take up its work in September 2023.
