From 24th to 27th of September 2019 the Portuguese Engineerimg Association Ordem dos Engenheiros hosted the Civil Engineering Summit at the premises of the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering in Lisbon. Over 400 participants from all over the world listened to speeches and lectures from over 150 experts.Among other ECEC Members, ECEC President Klaus Thürriedl had the opportunity to hold a speech on "The knowledge of a Civil Engineer" in the plenary session on Civil Engineering Education on 26th of September. The event was organised in five plenary sessions and  several parallel sessions each dealing with a different topic.
