The ECEC and the ECCE are currently in active discussion with the European Commission on the implementation of a Common Training Framework for Civil Engineers in order to enhance their mobility in Europe. The next meeting is set out for this autumn.

In order to answer a list of questions from the European Commission, both organisations are currently conducting a survey among member organisations on the national regulations for civil engineers.
