2nd Skills Council Meeting

The European Engineering Skills Council held its second ever meeting on May 16-17 in Brussels, bringing together stakeholders from educational and academic partners, industry and professional partners as well as policy-making bodies under the Engineers 4 Europe project. Klaus Thürriedl was present in his function of Skills Council member, representing the ECEC.

At the event, members discussed current trends and measures to develop the European Engineering Skills Strategy. The participants shared insights from their respective sectors and proposed recommendations that should be integrated in the development process of the Skills Strategy.

After a productive meeting, the publication of the Skills Strategy is now set out for September of this year.
