On 18th of May, the Slovak Chamber of Engineers has celebrated their 25th anniversary of re-establishment. For this occasion, the SKSI has organized an Engineering Day under the topic Quality of Construction Works, which took place on 18th of May at the NH hotel in Bratislava. The ECEC was represented by Secretary General Klaus Thürriedl, Vice-President Meyer and Treasurer Szöllössy.
The meeting at the conference related to the solving of current topics and similar problems resonating in all countries of the European Union. Exchange of experience is essential for active co-operation. The celebrations of this jubilee of SKSI have been an opportunity for strengthening this cooperation with its partners and with the representatives of the state administration, especially in the drafting of new laws in the field of construction and Civil Engineering.
The event was attended by more than 120 participants, including representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic, representatives of major professional organizations and construction companies operating in Slovakia, including the high representatives and experts of the ECEC and the ECCE, the Engineers' Chambers and associations of several foreign countries as well as honorary guests and members of SKSI - authorized Civil Engineers.
